Hey everyone,

How are you all and WOW!!! what a module it has been and I feel so lucky to be one of the privileged ones to have made the call last night, and to have shared the wisdom from what I would say, are two of most inspirational gurus, humans beings, whatever you would like to call this guy and gal, I have ever met and heard. If these two gurus were wrapped into one then their name would be

Hi Nigel,

I just read Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. It was an awesome read.

The book reminds us that people do not grow up in a vacuum. Aside from individual attributes and advantages, people are affected by their environment, the family the grew with, the friends they hang around with, and events by which they were fortunate to be the right age to participate in. Bill Gates was also featured in this book. :)

So we owe a lot to people who give us chances, whether by chance or by choice. Not purely by ability. It just underlines that to succeed we need people to help out and allow you to succeed. :)

All the Best!

Regards,

Hi Nigel,

Cracking post. I am staggered at the amount of info that we were privy to last night, and quite honestly If we can

3 Nigel Yip 01.09.09 at 5:15 pm

Hey Paull,

Absolutely, especially since we been given the info, shown the path and if we don’t cath this boat – we’ll be kicking ourselves in 3 years time and just had hoped we hadn’t bailed out for mainland, but hey, like you say Paull, imagination is limitiation and it great that you mention it too.

Let’s just keep this mini-snowball rolling to end for that desired Avalance effect where money will literally be raining down.

All the best

Hi Nigel,

been seeing you around the web on various blogs – nice work :) . . i got your reply through twitter about a service that does autoreponders for when people follow your tweet. .

can you give me that link again?

thanks!!

Derrick

5 Nigel Yip 01.09.09 at 8:58 pm

Hey Derrick, sure -

Here is the link – http://socialtoo.com/

or http://tweetmyblog.com/ – apparently both of these sites offer features when if somebody follows you, you can send them an autoreply with your own customised messsage just like an email autoresponder.

There’s also http://www.tweetlater.com/ which is a similar company.

I would say compare each one and see which one is more suitable for you

All the best and speak soon
Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the fast response! I actually already signed up but forgot what was the name of the service :) .. been signing up to far too many things at the moment!

Thanks for the props :) . . by the way I’ve noticed you haven’t set up
your gravatar! – you should!

I actually got your message on my blog, and was curious how it showed up there as well as your blog? Is this an automatic thing? or you just posted on both yours and mine blog??

Thanks again!

Derrick

Ps: I like how your blog’s looking very clean

7 Nigel Yip 01.09.09 at 9:32 pm

Hey Derrick

Well, you caught me at the right time and your welcome – I thought it would be better to leave comment on both my and your blog as well and I do it quite often with the other students as well. I think it helps to establih better relationship and appreciate it too.

I’m delighted to hear that you find my blog to be very clean as I was thinking about changing the theme last week as it looks not as professional – but I guess it will do for now as we’re going to be so busy over the next few weeks and and the rest of 2009.

All the best
Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Thanks!. . yeah. thats what I’ve done as well in the past. . but just wanted to check if there was an easier way :)

Derrick

9 Nigel Yip 01.10.09 at 6:37 am

Hey Derrick

I think there is an easier way i.e. there a trackback link feature I seem some of the AJ Students use – it doesn’t show the comment just a link where people can click – think it’s realtes to RSS feeds – I would recommend asking one of the guys i.e. JT Martin, Austin Delaney, Mark Austin etc,…..

Hi Nigel,

Very comprehensive blog on the Thursday night Alex Tribe coaching. I really like the look, very clean and polished looking. Great job!!

I have been busy all day with techie type things, and it is very challenging for me. My brain feels stretched to bits, but love learning new things.

I saw Erwin talking about reading Outliers. Just finished it myself. Great.

If you haven’t read Tribes, by Seth Godin, I would highly recommended it!! It is a validation we are all in the right place at the right time in our on-line endeavors.

I’ll check back with you. Come over and see me..and keep Rockin it over here!

Hi Nigel,

Great to see I wasn’t the only one totally blown away by Maria’s enthusiasm! :) The lady is has an infectious ability to make people literally jump out of their comfort zone and take action!

As with the rest of you, I feel very fortunate to have been on the webinar with Maria and for her to freely give us her 7 steps and then additional nuggets of gold, we are truly blessed. Thank you Maria.

It is now up to us as individuals to take action! It is only our ability to think outside the square that will limit us in what we can achieve with this new found information and inspiration.

Just as an added note, I’ve just finished reading your ebooks -”Lights-Action-Camera and you are to be commended to the work and effort you have put into them.

You have me intrigued and now I’m off to go have a go with Animoto!
Arigato gozaimasu (Thank You) and Sayonara (Good Bye)

HI Nigel,

What a cracking post it is. Everything is given to us for freeeeee!!!! by Alex and Maria and yet i am sure most of the F500 has given up or even make a refund. I think you agree with me the informations that Alex or Maria willing to layout with such passion and energy would have a value cost of $4997.00 combine if it sold in the market.

I totally agreed with you on this post. If we do not do what we have in our hand now, we will regret down the road. Credit must be given to you for such an absolutely brilliant stuff you write here. I am being honest here.

I see the pop-up opt-in when i surf your blog. How to you do that? I am still a rookie when comes this techie stuff.

Thanks so much.

Nigel,

Great post. I too thought the webinar was great. I missed the very end because I had to teach a class. I am looking forward to the replay so I can listen to it at my own speed. Guess I will have to set up the camera and do some video.

I also have to get a copy of Camtasia. I have used Adobe Premiere pro for quite some time. I have created a few full length movies. Did one on my Grandmaster and another on the seminar and tournament we goto in Korea every two years.

Thanks again for the post.

Thom

Hey Lesley

Firstly thanks for dropping by my blog and thanks for the book recommenedation -will add it to my Amazon wish lisT – I don;t use it as a wish list – think more to read list and it ensures I don’t forget about it and yeah learning new things everyday is wonderful and so diversifying than the typical 9-5 jobs.

I’ve only just managed to get my copy of the “4 Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris which everyone has been tooting to me to get a copy and read it and also I bought “Money and the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks, I wouldn;t have bought it, but there was a buy one get one free offer and I was recommended it by the Waterstones sales assistant that it’s related to “The Secret” – so might as well.

Anyway I look forward to speaking to you soon and will certainly come and visit you very shortly

Hey Lea,

Welcome to my blog, and yeah there was certainly a lot of information and yes we are certainly ahead of the game, I’ve left you a comment and response to back links – hope it helps and yep, definately will talk soon

All the best
Nigel

17 Nigel Yip 01.11.09 at 12:14 pm

Hey Dean

LOL, I just learnt some more japanese from yourself – thanks hehe, and yeah Maria like you said, was virally infectious lol with her ethusiasm, passion, and just willingness to share her knowledge, expereience and insight with us all.
And certainly, only our creativity and how far we step out of our comfort zone will limit and determine our success. I like to hope and think that all of us break these barriers and also from our current extended comfort zone too. Maybe we should start venturing out even further perhaps outer space as well.

Anyway all the best with your video making and gald you liked Lights.. Camera….Action.
Nigel

All the best with Animoto and I didn’t expect

18 Nigel Yip 01.11.09 at 12:31 pm

Hi Jeffrey

How are you doing? And thanks for your compliments about my post – I was soooo scared it would be toooo long and it would bore the hell out of everyone hehe… and of course I agree with you that the information, expereince, insights etc.. would certainly fetch a very high price but I personally also think that this information is literally priceless being that it would exceed way beyond the $4997.00 if they combined the courses together and sold it.

And yes we should be taking action, and lots of it too, not spadesful but JCB digger loads instead.

As for the pop up opt-in box, it’s very simple, first log-in to your Aweber Account, set up a new list and form as alex except told us to in the Aweber set up except you now need set up with the Pop up setting i.e. Lightbox Hover feature with Pop into the current window suddenly. settings enabled.

Best Regrds and best wishes
Nigel

Hey Thom

How are you and thanks for dropping by for a visit and wow sounds like you are a professional IM. I’ve never tried Camtasia but quit a few other AJ Studenths have and are having some really great success with it. I personally use with iMovie from a iMac that I bought 7 years ago or window video maker or as recently Animoto and Powerpoint -

All the best

Nigel,

Thanks for stopping my place and taking a look at my first video. Wanted to let you know that I put a new version of the one I did using your great feedback and help.

If you ever need a testimonial for your E-book Let me know.. I thought it was great.

Well here goes, (even if you don’t want it your going to get it :) ).

I wanted to try my hand at making a video to put online. I had no idea how to do it until I found Nigel Yip’s site. On this site I found great videos and even better an E-book called Lights, Camera, Action. With the help of this book I was able to create a video and place it on YouTube as well as my blog site. People have already commented how well it looks.

Thank Nigel, without your book it would not be Lights, Camera, Action it would be Lightout, Who lost the Camera and Action… We don’t need no stinking action” Great job and thanks again
