Module 6 – Triple Threat Affiliate!!! Part 2

by nigelyip on February 3, 2009

cont….. from previous post:  “Module 6 – Triple Threat Affiliate!!! Part 1″

So yeah, where were we , oh yes, email marketing. Now after his 2 mins break with a battle to find Bonjela to soothe his ulcer, Alex progressed with email marketing and told us that we

“are on the way to a million dollar business”

Yeah right?

  • For Alex Himself -  Definately YES!
  • For some, YES TOO!!!
  • For others, NOPE, or not yet, BUT  maybe one day soon!
  • And for the few and far between, Blimin’ Highly Unlikely NOT- LOL!!!

But yeah, Alex then went on further and explain the two types of Aweber email contact – Auto Responders and Broadcast fucntions ,features, difference and how to st them up – it was certainly a Formidable (*pronouce it with French Accentand use the French meaning please*) effort demonstrating us his email marketing strategy and how he runs his Aweber side of his business.

Although I have to say now though, after last nights webinar session, I know as to why the communications dishes and signals between Alex along with the rest of the what is left of the so called fortunate 500 students, and I are so misaligned, thus the key reason why my blog  is hindered and not progressing as it should be, and why I should have listened to my gut instinct which has been telling me something I chose to ignore until recently, as well as why some students have left too.

It’s so damn pretty obvious, and I guess all of you, already knew what is was.  I guess, I should have known better, but then who cares, now that I’ve found the other half of my key to unlock my chosen door of destiny!

All the best
Nigel

PS: Have you found or already found your key yet?

Module 6 – Triple Threat Affiliate!!! Part 1

by nigelyip on February 2, 2009

Hey Everyone,

Hmmm…. Module 6 – Triple Threat affiliate? So what can I say?

Well first and foremost it was an information overload session and the coaching webinar session went beyond the 3 hour mark and I fell asleep twice during the webinar. Yes, that’s right I nodded off twice or more and no, it’s wasn’t boring, just my brain felt quite incompetent to handle the various processing streams of information although despite I nodded off on several occasions, I still managed to take a humoungous amount of notes.

Anyway, before I nod off again, how was module 6?

It began with Alex zentifying and deep brain cleansing with his philosophical pschological tactics and pre-priming us in the best receptive mode to focus on his lecture are it seemed to have the opposite effect for me and it all started off again with one of the numerous stories he would tell us about.

You see, Alex, was telling us how a French Guy named Matt Monsieur? Monsieur Matt? who he was attending a seminar with in San Francisco, who later when Alex met up again, year ago had built a business with blew past Alex’s. The point was that somehow fate and coincidence bought them back together again earlier this fornight when Alex was visiting Disneyland Florida. Apparently they parked in the same block and were 5 cars apart in the same row? That’s just freaky destiny or what?

Anyway, later continued to explain how both families then went around together having fun, enjoying life etc.. and that Walt Disney’s motto of:

“One Man’s dream

was what Alex also believed and that he and Monsieur Matt went around Disneyland looking at various aspects from a marketing perspective, where they stumbled upon the 3 little pigs and stood there laughing like kids according to his missus.

This Alex, used effectively in describing how everyone should be building a business with strong foundations i.e. like the third little pig who built the house of bricks and mortar and kept the wolf out of bay. So after storytelling times of happy adventures across the pond, aka the Atlantic ocean, Alex Fastracked to reasons why everyone should be focusing on list building and list build only. Nothing else – just build the damn list, list, list!!!

But another few key ingredients included – you need to be able to create quality fresh content, traffic, and create a form or something that makes people attract to you or makes you likeable.(Sorry but that ain’t moi, everybody hates me even if I smile at them lol – guess I must have a mean face)

Furthermore, Alex then bombard us with his usual dictionary of random quotes collated from various influences, guros, experts and so called people with high authority along with all the 80/20 rules, about not holding back and re-plan, re-plan, re-plan.

Then there were the 3 phases:

  • Build A List
  • Write your own eBook
  • Learn e-Mail Marketing

Well, yeah, also earning as your learning? Erm…is that even a good strategy?

Next for the remain hours or so , Alex kept recapping on what we had leanrt and that it was a simple process, just:

  1. Create a good eBook
  2. Create a squeeze page
  3. Set up on Autopilot
  4. Market the eBook
  5. Build a list,

And finally keeping everything SIMPLE!!!!!

Oh and there was something about Results and Excuses and that

“You can be so close to success but not see how close you really are!”

Well how dose one define close, a eyelash away, a millimeter? Maybe even a centimeter, a meter or a kilometers?> Possibly even miles?

Then Alex progress to another story about the boy and the size and growth issue – well I think I fell asleep by then, why? My notes were slanted. But hey h, Alex soldiered on at blistering pace about again got his dictionary book of quote of which he picked up Vincent Thomas quote of

“Winners never quite, Quitters never Win!!!”

From there on, Alex concluded the first part of the webinar with the emphasis on that “Hell no, it’s not hard!” and to just get it going!!!

Right, cont…on next post!!!!

Experimentation… to Keep or not to Keep?

by nigelyip on January 14, 2009

Hey everyone, my dear friends and loyal readers

Firstly I like to apologise about the few hours that the site was down for mainataince however, I was busy putting up the intro you saw and there was a bit of delay issue with the hosting in redirecting the webpages. Please let me know what you think about – I would love to know as to where I should keep it or not keep it. Thanks in advance.

Now, I am currently working on a new eBook as all will know and it’s going to be quite different compared to Lights Camera Action.

Yes, thats right, I’m been researching, analysing and currently working on something that I recently bought as a PLR eBook and I have turned it around completely something that I hope whoever reads this, will gained a great insight to something that is worthwhile setting up in the future. The reason being that it’s to do with ideas on setting up your own membership sites and making money from it.

Now, I’m not someone who regularly like to hype things up – remember my Lights Camera Ebook, I launched it the same day as Alex’s long awaited “Social Media Money” Webinar and nobody knew about it – and I think it was all the same week as Garry’s Newsletter as well.

It’s going to be a paid eBook retailing at $27 and because I’ve uploaded it to clickbank as well and I’ll be putting an affiliate page on the site as well for those who may be interested in promoting it which ofcourse it’s voluntary.

Here’s the best part though, becasue for every customer your direct/refer to my site who makes a sale, I will give you 50% commission.

Oh and did I mention, if you don’t want to, you don’t have to host anything either unless you decide to make your own squeeze page and direct customers to my site. You could just simply put a link on your blog or send it out to your mailing list with the linking code.

Okay thats all from me now, Sorry I’ve been shouting everyone, but as you can see I am absolutely, totally, ecstatic about this, infact I doubt I might even sleep for the next couple of days.

All the best

Nigel

PS: please check back soon as I will clickbank referall link up!!! Thanks!!!
