Hey everyone, my dear friends and loyal readers
Firstly I like to apologise about the few hours that the site was down for mainataince however, I was busy putting up the intro you saw and there was a bit of delay issue with the hosting in redirecting the webpages. Please let me know what you think about – I would love to know as to where I should keep it or not keep it. Thanks in advance.
Now, I am currently working on a new eBook as all will know and it’s going to be quite different compared to Lights Camera Action.
Yes, thats right, I’m been researching, analysing and currently working on something that I recently bought as a PLR eBook and I have turned it around completely something that I hope whoever reads this, will gained a great insight to something that is worthwhile setting up in the future. The reason being that it’s to do with ideas on setting up your own membership sites and making money from it.
Now, I’m not someone who regularly like to hype things up – remember my Lights Camera Ebook, I launched it the same day as Alex’s long awaited “Social Media Money” Webinar and nobody knew about it – and I think it was all the same week as Garry’s Newsletter as well.
It’s going to be a paid eBook retailing at $27 and because I’ve uploaded it to clickbank as well and I’ll be putting an affiliate page on the site as well for those who may be interested in promoting it which ofcourse it’s voluntary.
Here’s the best part though, becasue for every customer your direct/refer to my site who makes a sale, I will give you 50% commission.
Oh and did I mention, if you don’t want to, you don’t have to host anything either unless you decide to make your own squeeze page and direct customers to my site. You could just simply put a link on your blog or send it out to your mailing list with the linking code.
Okay thats all from me now, Sorry I’ve been shouting everyone, but as you can see I am absolutely, totally, ecstatic about this, infact I doubt I might even sleep for the next couple of days.
All the best
Nigel
PS: please check back soon as I will clickbank referall link up!!! Thanks!!!

Hi Nigel,
WOW ! That was some grand opening. I see you are getting cagey in your “old age” and are using some of the Gazz-Man’s annotying habbits to provoke response. Well you got me over here dude. And you can thank Denis Caron coz he alerted me to.
Sorry I haven’t been over sooner yipster but, after months of smashing myself commenting on as many of the F500 blogs as I could, the last two days have been selfishly, all about me. I needed to play catch up.
Well, you certainly are a man of many talents Nigel. Where have you been hiding all this ability?
Any chance of us seeing the BEFORE and AFTER version so we can see exactly what you have done? I think that would be a great lesson for all of us.
Let me know if you will consider this and keep us posted.
Thanks Nigel – you fox!
Gary
Hi Nigel:
Awesome intro. Caught me by surprise. I was enthralled. Yes keep it. I don’t know if I’ll watch it every time I visit, but then there’s the option to skip it, and you really do capture the new visitor.
But of course, Gary beat me to the punch. I did mean to get here sooner.
Great job-VERY PRO…
Denis
Hey Gary
Firstly, yes I know how to us Adobe Flash however it’s been 4 years since I last used it and , I don’t mind telling people this, because the truth is I didn’t make it enitrely myself. Why? I also have a Adobe Flash Intro Builder Wizard Program which basically is a set of pre-made templates, and all I have to do is input the text I want, set the timings, the colour schemes, backgrounds etc….. and then it does the animation for me. Just like with Animoto, set the content and let the wizard wave it’s magic over it.
The reason why I used it was, as I was giving my PC a good clear up, sorting out and unistalling old programs, I stumbled across this now ancient Adobe Flash Intro Builder Wizard Program. I thought I would have a play around for 10 minutes and maybe give me some inspiration for the video competition and suddenly a brainwave popped up, I thought…
Hey why not put this on my blog to invite people because when somebody comes to my blog, they don’t know what to do or what I’m blogging about, and so, I set to work, 10 mins later, I got my flash intro.
Next I wham bammed it in to Coffee Cup HTML editor, created my background page, inserted the SWF Media file codes etc… and uploaded to my host and finally redirected my domain name to the new page. The latter redirection process took 4 hours, partly 3 and 1/2 hours waiting for the domains to faff around and redirect to new page.
Anyway, now I’m not sure what you mean by BEFORE and AFTER – so the next time you pop back – can you clarify it a little.
In the mean time, I going to get myself back on track and up to scratch again with the main program Macromedia Flash MX, itself, I think the new one is Adobe Flash CS4 Pro.
Nextly (is that even a wrod) It kool and about time you had some “me, me, me ” time, I’m wouldn’t say it’s selfish as we all need to take some time off now and again, to have some thinking time, create some magic i.e like you did with you new uber-cool – refreshingly different new blog.
You know what, you’ve got the best outsourcing person that anyone could wish for!!! BTW, I saw you ultra long pimp on Garry Parkes blog too… hehe some pimping!!!
Right, speak soon, I’m off to finsihing my new mini ebooks and get myself back on the flying track with Macromedia Flash MX and possibly also take a look at the new improved version.
Nigel
Hey Denis,
I value everyone’s comment and I am delighted to hear that it does what I intended it to do – to captivate the audience and make them take action and influence them to visit my blog as well as briefing them what my blog is about.
Now, like I said to Gary, I could have made it myself the hard way using the long Adobe flash program method, but I had a wizard program which I stumbled across when clearing my pc and so I used that to it full adavantage. Guess you could call it leveraging?
Anyway, speak soon, I think I have mail.
Nigel
Hi Nigel,
Love what you’ve done with your place. I really appreciate your visit this morning and your comments about how you maintain your focus. You’re certainly proof that it works!
As for the flash intro. . . I’m not a huge fan of flash intros, but don’t base your decision on a few comments. If you like it and you compare your google analytics and find that people are spending more time on your site after the flash was embedded than before, I say keep it.
I did have some problems with your site doing strange things after I signed up to receive your ebook, however. It redirected me to a page that I didn’t recognize as part of your site. Not sure what happened. Might be my computer.
Anyway, you’re doing great things and I look forward to learning more from visiting with you.
All the best,
Theresa
Hi Theresa
Thanks for dropping by and hey you know what, I like visiting your place and I’m glad to be able to be living proof of what works and what doesn’t. I greatly appreciate your feedback about the flash intro and yes I will be comparing by google stats soon to see if it has made any difference.
Now in regards to the page diversion, did you see a banner at the top sating Lights Camera Action or did you get a confirmation page? or something completely different?
Hmmm.. this is strange but thanks for letting me know and me too, I look forward to learning from you too as well.
Best Regards
Nigel
Hey Nigel,
Video Flash is very impressive, but I dont’ know if it is the best thing for internet marketing blogs. . I actually thought I went to the wrong webpage. . maybe you can still keep it as a featured video within your blog page?
Anyway, just my thoughts. . by the way. . how’s your blog traffic going? I’ve been busy writing and working on content, and haven’t had much time for generating traffic
All the best,
Derrick
Hey Derrick
Thanks for your comment about the flash into. Well after some trialing, I noticed the flash trailer although interesting, it sorta made traffic go down so I guess people were put off. Other wise blog traffic is resuming abck to normal and I get an average of 90+ new unique views each day so it’s kinda kool
All the best to you too, Derrick
Nigel
