New LCA Videos – Animoto Update

by nigelyip on February 10, 2009

Hey Everyone

Not quite sure whether you all got my previous post or not but hey ho, I was playing with Animoto again last night and was using it to make some videos for my Lights..Camera..Action!!! And my word, is there even more features that I simply had to update about 3 sections in the current eBook to keep it fresh and revised for future down-loaders which I intended to promote and use for FREE giveaways. Now, I just can’t decide which video to use so I would appreciate some suggestions.

The chilled out one:

or the bouncy one.

Let me know which one you think is better – all comments greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance
Nigel

Hey Nigel… I agree with Christine… they are both really good!! I think they would both appeal to different people. Some people like the slower givem time to read and digest it method while I personally prefer the “bouncy” one… the quicker the message can get delivered the better so that I can get the message and move onto the next task at hand!! ;-)

Hi Nigel,

Yes, I agree with both Christine and Robin – they are both great. Proving yet again that you ARE the video man that we can all learn so much from.

I go with Robin in that each one probably appeals to different types of people. Trouble is how will you know? Suggest you do a split testing exercise: one on YouTube, and the other on other video hosting sites, for a specified number of views each. Then compare your stats. Then go all change, with the first one not on YouTube and the other one taking its place. Run for the same specified number of views.
Check final stats. Does there seem to be any pattern emerging at all?

I would guess that the majority, if there is one, will go for the bouncy one. (From the comments above, and the expected age range of the viewers and what is most likely to appeal.)

Hope this helps.

Hi Nigel

I like both but prefer the chilled out one but I’m 46 and since 40 the eyes have been degrading.

I would try to increase exposure time on the link cuz it took me 3 run thru’s to get it right.

I started by typing in lightscameraaction, then lightcameraaction, before getting to lightcameraction.info.

Guess I typed what was in my minds eye first lol.

The ebay report is excellent, thanks for that.
