hmm… no sales!!!

It hasn’t been a good day at all. I was making money by from a new product I recently put out on eBay. It was a superb ebook on a CD I was selling and I made 39 sales last week and 70 sales until today, when some ebay competitor, disguised themselves as a newbie bought my guide, reported me to eBay and then gone and nicked off my auction i.e. html codes, layouts, titles, structures etc… to sell the same thing.

The bad thing was, whilst eBay took me auction off without telling until 24 hours laters, the new guy had put his auction up and sold 38 copies of it plus he’s sending it digitally and not like me who sent it on a CD to comply with eBay Digital Rights rules. I’m outraged and I guessed I;ve been outsmarted. Great, welcome to the real word. So okay, I knew somebody would copy it one day but the point is if they were going to copy me, why didn’t they change the auction slightly or if they actually did take notice, that my clickbank name link was still in the guide.

Effectively they are making money with my clickbank name in the ebook. Plus I don’t get any money or credit for it. Other than if the guy does a bad job, I’m going to get bad press, but Thankfully, I have another Clickbank account. So the other one, I can just leave it to sit quietly.

Anyway, what I wanted to say is that ‘Check out the FREE EBOOKS section’. The 1p auction secret is a popular old guide, but the reason why I listed it on for you was that the author said it was to be distributed freely and I wanted you, my subscribers to know why despite the ebooks are sold at a lost, ebay sellers are still selling them. Hint: they simply want feedback.
