Early Signs of a White Christmas???

by nigelyip on December 2, 2008

Hello all,

Hope everyone is all well and warm. I just woke up this morning just to find out that the skies decide to precipitate some light snow and a frosty covering? Could this be an early sign that we may actually have a White Christmas this year? I’ve posted some pics below: Not the best ones I’ve taken

(above – Not really that much snow at all)

It’s a good job Alex’s webinar is a webinar and not a seminar lol as it means we can be all warm and cosy in our homes – lol. Although if it was a seminar, we could all probably have a wonderful time chatting to each other before and after.

Anyway, see you all later tonight at the webinar!!!!

Hey Nigel,

Where do you live man?

Looks like the North Pole.

That’s not Santa Claus living across the road there is it? He’s got a red coat on.

Ho…ho…ho!

PS: Coleen at http://www.coleen.cook.com reckons I am a “class clown!” Why would she say that?

Hello Gary and Mark,

Thanks for commenting back.

Now Gary, re your question, I live in Newcastle-under-Lyme which is pretty much near the middle of the UK and no unfortunately it isn’t the north pole lol!

RE: Mark, I’m not quite sure if it will hit London or not – think it might be just my area. It’s coming and going all the time, and I was talking to one of the salesperson today at the garage where I need an new exhaust change, and she was telling me she was surpised to see snow as she lives in stafford (which is about 16 miles south ) and it was clean and clear.

Anyway – looking forward to the webinar and see you both and everyone else there. Exciting times ahead tonight – lol!!!

All the best!
Nigel

Hello all,

Thanks for your comments.

re: Traci – I know it’s really strange that where I live, we’re already getting snow, and I know what you mean about snow. Warm weather is really nice but in the UK, we hardly seem to get any. I mean, in the UK, this year we had a really short summer probably a few days of 28+ degrees celcius – most of the time, it’s been miserable.

I guess, being born here, we get use to the cold so it’s not a major probs bt like you dsay, if you;ve moved from a warm climate to a cold climate – it definately takes some time to get use to it.

re: Mandy

I am glad that you found my site lol – and I really happy for you that your site is up and running with everything seem to be working. If you need any more help, the please feel free to ask. Just wondering – have you checked out Gary Simpson’s Blog, We been having some really intelectual debate and creative thinking going on.

Thanks again and see you all at the webinar tonight.

All the best
Nigel!!!
